Chloe Berndtsson is a Swedish-American ice hockey player born in 2008, currently playing defense for Rögle BK’s women’s team in Ängelholm, Sweden. Known for her smart, two-way style and strong leadership, Chloe has already built an impressive career at a young age.

She made her debut in Sweden’s top women’s league, SDHL, at just 15, after progressing through programs like IFK Österåker, Mora IK, Luleå HF, and Leksands IF. In 2024, she represented Team Sweden at the Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, South Korea, helping the U16 squad win gold — on her 16th birthday.

Chloe also competed in TV-pucken, Sweden’s top youth tournament, for three consecutive years, earning bronze, silver, and gold medals. Her breakout performance included 26 points in 7 games, a rare achievement for a defenseman.

In 2025, she signed a two-year contract with Rögle BK, aiming to grow further in both the NDHL and SDHL, with long-term goals of representing Sweden at the senior level and exploring collegiate or professional opportunities abroad.

Off the ice, Chloe is known for her work ethic, humility, and positive mindset — traits that make her not just a top athlete, but also a strong teammate and role model.

Chloe Berndtsson (born January 31, 2008) is a dual-nationality Swedish-American ice hockey player recognized as one of Sweden’s top young defensive prospects. Currently playing for Rögle BK’s women’s team in the NDHL, Chloe brings a powerful combination of physical presence, two-way intelligence, and international-level experience.Born in Mission Viejo, California, Chloe moved to Sweden at a young age, where she began skating with IFK Österåker. Her development quickly accelerated, and she progressed through youth programs at Mora IK, Luleå HF, and Leksands IF, debuting in Sweden’s top women’s league, the SDHL, at just 15 years old.

In 2024, Chloe represented Sweden in the Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, South Korea. As part of the national U16 team, she helped secure the gold medal, contributing 2 assists and strong defensive play in the tournament.
